Today's NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center Forecast

In Our Corner of the Solar System

The sun is sedate
The particles, placid
The solar wind, slack
The magnetic field, flaccid

No regions are flaring
nor filaments erupting
No high speed streams blowing
for magnetosphere disrupting

But deep in the sun
fusion unabated
keeps the whole thing
from being deflated.

It won't be too long
before new spots appear
and CMEs happen
and forecasters cheer...

I'ts true! This is what they posted on Facebook this morning.
